Rashid Lombard (CEO)
Rashid Lombard applies his expertise in the management of entertainment and entertainers. International political and war photojournalist by trade, former station manager of Fine Music Radio and former programming manager at P4 Smooth Jazz Radio, Rashid produced e-TV's well-received "Jazz Café". A Cape Town legend in his own right, with some 20 years experience managing music concerts and events. Founder of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival has a played a pivotal role in conceptualising, strategising and implementing the marketing strategies for the festival now branded as “Africa's Grandest Gathering “

Billy Domingo (COO)
Billy Domingo (COO) - applies all his International knowledge and expertise of producing and managing multi-million rand stage and stadium shows. He has a strong understanding of all aspects of safety and security on a national and international level. An International multi-skilled strategic planner, co-founder and Life Member of the African Promoters Consultative Committee, Billy (as he is affectionately known), has stage- directed the likes of Miss World, Miss South Africa, Presidential Inauguration, Two Nations Celebration held at the Royal Albert Hall London with President Mandela and Queen Elizabeth and also Presidential Imbizos and other like events for SUN INTERNATIONAL. He managed designed and coordinated international and other conventions and launches at the Sun City Super Bowl (and Sun City) between 1979 and 1997, where after he left to join espAfrika.
Eva Domingo (Operations Manager)
Previously employed at Sun International, Sun City, Eva’ scope of work ranged from ticketing to front of house including special events coordination. eg Miss World, Loerie Awards and all international music concerts. Eva now manages the Cape Town International Jazz Festival and holds a Diploma in Marketing
Charmane Creamer (Project Finance Manager)
She started out in the accounts department and moved into Financial Project Management. She spent 3 months in Holland working with a Dutch company MOJO Concerts where she was trained and worked in the financial project management department on projects like, Sting, Bon Jovi, North Sea The Hague and many more.
Carenza Van Willingh (Marketing Manager)
Carenza holds a Diploma in Marketing Management and has worked in the marketing industry for the past 15 years. She started out in the financial industry thereafter worked as an independent events coordinator for several events. She is also a qualified graphic designer. Carenza heads the media and marketing at espAfrika.
Yana Lombard (Talent Mananger)
Yana holds a Diploma in Video technology at Natal Technikon. She has worked for Associated Press and CNN as a producer, in a freelance capacity. Yana now produces the annual Cape Town International Jazz Festival DVD and is involved in artist booking for the festival and other espAfrika events.
Chantel Windvogel (Projects Manager )
Chantel Windvogel is a Marketing and Sales Management graduate from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. She joined espAfrika in 2004 as an Project Assistant for Training and Development and six months later became the Project Manager. Chantel works in all areas of production at espAfrika, as well Road Manager for Jimmy Dludlu in Cuba in 2005. She now heads up the technical department for the Cape Town International Jazz Festival as well as other projects.
Henlene Mathys (Projects Manager )
Henlene started working for espAFRIKA as a production volunteer at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival in 2004. There after she joined the espAFRIKA team as the production administrator in 2005. She is a project manager on espAFRIKA projects such as the Cape Town International Jazz Festival’s Golf Day since 2007 and the Cape Town International Jazz Festival Crystal Gala Dinner since 2008.
Nicoline Segers (Creditors Accounts Manager )
Nicoline pursued a career in the pharmaceutical industry where she worked as a medical aid supervisor, heading a team of 8 for a period of 12 years.
She decided to spread her wings and join the world of event management in 2002; and has been with espAFRIKA for 6 years where she currently holds the position of Creditors Accounts Manager.
Rashieda Ismail-Davids (Office Manager & PA to Directors)
Rashieda started working for espAFRIKA in 2004 as a receptionist until she became an office manager four years later. At this position, she is in charge of the coordination of the operational side of the office, staff logistics and VIP guest hospitality. Previously Rashieda was employed by Grootte Schuur for 13 years. She holds a certificate in tourism management and has worked as a tour guide on a freelance basis.
Thalia Erwin (Production Co-ordinator)
Thalia is still completing a post graduate diploma in Community Economic Development with the University of KZN. She worked for Awesome Africa Music Festival Productions for 9 years and was the festival director for Awesome Africa from 2005-2007. Thalia grew up surrounded by musicians and politicians and has been working in the event industry since she was 14 years old. Thalia has facilitated many training courses on job creation and small business development in her home town of Durban. Thalia came to espAFRIKA in the beginning of 2008 as a Project Manager. In her career history Thalia has worked on events from the African Renaissance Cultural Concert to Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday.
Anthea Thys (Media and Marketing Assistant)
Anthea started her career in Marketing in 2004 at a NGO, The Cape Town City Mission. In 2007 she broadened her horizon and entered into the events management scene at espAfrika as the Media and Marketing Assistant. Anthea works with suppliers, designers and maintains the company website. During her time here Anthea has worked on projects such as the Cape Town International Jazz Festival & Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday and MACfest. Anthea has also done some production work on events such as Freedom Day and UDF 25th Anniversary.
Ncumisa Kosa (Receptionist)
Ncumisa started working at Woolworth Financial Services in 2004-2008 marketing Woolworth’s financial products after that she moved to Woolworths House and worked there as a HR Service specialist dealing with HR related issues. She then moved to 24.com as a HR clerk assisting in the termination department. Ncumisa has also been involved in NGO work where she worked at a well established NGO called Communicare Social Housing as a fundraiser. Ncumis has a certificate in FAIS Compliant Course which she studied at Intec Collage School of insurance. Ncumisa is the office administrator for ESPAfrika and assists on community based projects.
Hadjiera Jabaar (General Office Assistant)
Hadjiera Jabaar has worked for espAFRIKA since its inception 10 years ago. She manages all in-house hospitality and catering. She has gained experience in the textile and motor industry before planting her roots firmly within the espAFRIKA family. Her passion for the catering and hospitality environment makes her a valued asset to the company
Maria Simanga (Debtors Clerk)
Maria holds a Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting at Cape Peninsula University of Technology. She has worked for Numbers Accounting as a Bookkeeper in 2008 She joined ESPAfrika in October 2009 where she took the position of Debtors Clerk
