Ziyanda Gxothiwe
Project Co-ordinator
espAfrika’s resident style icon, Ziyanda knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to work hard to get it. A Capetonian through-and-through, Ziyanda is proud to be a young South African. Finding herself without a solid path to follow after high school, she tried her hand at a few jobs before deciding to study events management. After her first semester, she knew she was hooked on the industry. She recently completed her diploma as one of the top students in her class and is now working on a B-Tech in Project Management part time. During her time at espAfrika, she has worked closely with both the Production department and the Training & Development department, where she took responsibility of a wide variety of tasks and projects. Ziyanda works well with a team and her flexibility and dedication pays off daily when faced with new challenges and tasks.
Ziyanda is also dedicated to her church where she spends a lot of her time. She loves shopping and socialising with her peers. She hopes to one day build a shelter for the homeless in her hometown of Khayelitsha, where everyone can feel the love and comfort of family and security.
